H.R. No. 1127
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, No Label Brewing Co. in Katy captured four awards at
the New York International Beer Competition on March 18, 2023; and
WHEREAS, The craft brewery competed against more than 700
entries in 30 categories from 15 countries; No Label's Hard Hats &
Six Packs, a Japanese rice lager, earned first-place honors, while
its jalapeño-infused collaboration with Blood Brothers BBQ, Don
Jalapeño, placed second; the brewery also received bronze medals
for its West Coast IPA, Cali Boy, and its Weizenbock, El Carlito;
and
WHEREAS, One of the first breweries in Greater Houston, No
Label Brewing opened its doors in 2010; the company is currently
working to expand its influence in the Dallas and Austin areas, with
new collaborations with Denton County Brewing and Meanwhile Brewing
in Austin; and
WHEREAS, This dynamic enterprise represents the Texas
entrepreneurial spirit at its finest, contributing to both the
economy of the Lone Star State and to the craft beer industry; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate No Label Brewing Co. on its success
at the New York International Beer Competition and extend to all
those associated with the brewery sincere best wishes for the
future; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for No Label Brewing as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
