| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Barrow Brewing Company in Salado is celebrating the |

| 6 | 6 | | seventh anniversary of its opening in 2023; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Founded in 2014, Barrow Brewing Company began |

| 8 | 8 | | construction the following year; the building, which previously |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | housed the Silver Spur Theater and the pole barn granary for the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Guest & Sandford Gin, underwent extensive renovations that |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | increased sustainability while retaining the original knotty-pine |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | walls; Barrow Brewing Company became the first microbrewery in Bell |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | County when it opened its doors on April 1, 2016; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The brewery has become a popular venue, hosting |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | numerous weekly events, including the Salado Farmers Market, |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | running and cycling meetups, trivia, and a yoga class; moreover, it |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | frequently presents live music performances and has put on the |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Salado Springs Craft Beer Festival and the Northbound & Down music |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | festival; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Locally owned and operated businesses play an |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | important role in furthering the economic well-being of towns |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | throughout Texas, and all those associated with Barrow Brewing |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Company may take great pride in the contributions that the company |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | has made to the Salado community; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the seventh anniversary of Barrow |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Brewing Company and extend to the brewery's owners and employees |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | sincere best wishes for continued success; and, be it further |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
