| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | passing of Adolfo G. Aleman of Dallas on January 31, 2022, at the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | age of 75; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Adolfo "Kike" Aleman was born in Waco on April 4, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | 1946, to Juan Francisco Aleman Sr. and Irene Aleman; he grew up with |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the companionship of five siblings, David, Juan, Roy, Diana, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Azalia, and attended Bullard School in Robstown; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A skilled dress cutter, Mr. Aleman worked with |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Parkland of Dallas Sportswear and went on to establish his own |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | business, Aleman's Apparel Cutting; he retired in September 2001 |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | after 38 years in the industry; in his leisure time, he enjoyed |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | spending time with his family and cheering on his favorite football |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | and soccer teams; throughout his life, he drew strength from his |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Christian faith; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Aleman benefited from the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | love and support of his wife, Juanita, with whom he shared a |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | rewarding marriage that spanned more than five decades; he took |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | great pride in their two children, Frank and Priscilla, and with the |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | passing years, he had the privilege of seeing his family grow to |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | include 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Although Adolfo Aleman is greatly missed, he has |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | left his loved ones with a wealth of memories that they will forever |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | treasure; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Adolfo G. Aleman and |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | extend heartfelt condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | wife, Juanita Aleman; to his son, Frank Aleman; to his daughter, |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | Priscilla Garcia; to his grandchildren, Jennifer Aleman, Nicole |
|---|
| 33 | 33 | | Aleman, Alexandra Aleman, Crystal Garcia, Leanna Barrera, Vincent |

| 34 | 34 | | Espinoza, and Issac Garcia; to his great-grandchildren; to his |

| 35 | 35 | | brothers, David Aleman, Juan Francisco Aleman Jr., and Roy Aleman; |
