| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Rosa Navejar has been elected as board chair of the |

| 6 | 6 | | Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce, becoming the first Latina to hold |

| 7 | 7 | | that position in the chamber's 140-year history; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Navejar is president of The Rios Group, Inc., |

| 9 | 9 | | which she established in 2012; she previously spent 25 years in the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | banking industry, followed by more than a decade as president of the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Deeply dedicated to her community, Ms. Navejar has |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | served on numerous boards and committees, including the Fort Worth |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Executive Roundtable and the Safe City Commission, as well as the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | City of Fort Worth Task Force on Race and Culture and Transportation |

| 16 | 16 | | and Infrastructure Committee; moreover, she was appointed by U.S. |

| 17 | 17 | | Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood to the National Freight |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Advisory Committee, and she was vice chair of Trinity Metro; her |

| 19 | 19 | | accolades include the John V. McMillan Hall of Fame Award from the |

| 20 | 20 | | Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the Women's Transportation |

| 21 | 21 | | Seminar Rosa Parks Diversity Leadership Award, and the Fort Worth |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Business Press Minority Leader in Business award, and in 2016, she |

| 23 | 23 | | was inducted into the Fort Worth Business Press Entrepreneur Hall |

| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, With her outstanding leadership, professionalism, |

| 26 | 26 | | and commitment to excellence, Rosa Navejar has earned the lasting |

| 28 | 28 | | her experience and expertise are sure to serve her well as she takes |
