| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Parker J. Nickerson has ably served his fellow |

| 6 | 6 | | Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Jolanda |

| 7 | 7 | | Jones during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Nickerson has provided |

| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |

| 10 | 10 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Nickerson is currently enrolled as a student at |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | The University of Texas at Austin; during his time at the Capitol, |

| 15 | 15 | | he has contributed to the success of Representative Jones's |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | legislative agenda through his research and analysis of complex |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | public health policy issues and his assistance with drafting |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | legislation, and he has also provided critical support to lawmakers |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | in other areas; and |

| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Parker Nickerson has performed his duties as a |

| 21 | 21 | | legislative aide with great skill and diligence, and through his |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | dedication to helping improve public health and uphold the values |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | of our democracy, he has earned the respect and admiration of all |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | who have had the pleasure of working with him; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby commend Parker J. Nickerson for his service as a |

| 27 | 27 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jolanda |

| 28 | 28 | | Jones and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in |
