| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Jeff Bonner of Pampa retired as a technical guidance |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | biologist for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department in February |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 2022, concluding an outstanding tenure with the agency that spanned |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | more than two decades; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Bonner joined TPWD in 2000 as a private lands |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | biologist stationed in Seguin, and three years later, he became the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | district biologist for the northeast area of the Panhandle region; |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | he assumed his most recent role as a technical guidance biologist in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | 2010, and his many responsibilities included working with |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | landowners to protect area wildlife; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Prior to his career with TPWD, Mr. Bonner was |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | employed as a manager at a ranch in Duval County for five years; he |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | holds a bachelor's degree from Texas Tech University and a master's |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | degree in range and wildlife management from Texas A&M |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | University-Kingsville; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Bonner enjoys the love and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | support of his wife, Mendi, and he takes great pride in their |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | children, Jenna Leigh and Garrett; an avid outdoorsman, he delights |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | in hunting, hiking, fishing, and camping; and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Through his expertise, professionalism, and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | commitment to the agency's mission, Jeff Bonner greatly benefited |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | TPWD and the citizens of the Lone Star State, and he may indeed |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | reflect with pride on a career well spent; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Jeff Bonner on his retirement from |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and extend to him sincere |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | best wishes for the future; and, be it further |

| 32 | 32 | | RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
