| 10 | 10 | | in Daytona Beach, Florida, from April 5 through 9, the Tigers |

| 11 | 11 | | delivered an exceptional performance; competing in the Cheer Spirit |

| 12 | 12 | | Rally Division I category, TSU held first place after the |

| 13 | 13 | | preliminary round and went on to triumph in the final round with a |

| 14 | 14 | | total event score of 95.5875, outdistancing its nearest competitor |

| 15 | 15 | | by a margin of nearly 11 points; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, The win was all the more significant because the |

| 17 | 17 | | Tigers are the first team from a Historically Black College and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | University to claim a national title at the cheerleading |

| 19 | 19 | | championships, and their success is sure to inspire countless young |

| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, The TSU cheerleaders benefit from the able |

| 22 | 22 | | leadership of head coach Shontrese Comeaux, who has made success at |

| 23 | 23 | | nationals a priority for the team; under her guidance, the Tigers |

| 24 | 24 | | have devoted themselves to building their skills and refining their |

| 25 | 25 | | routines, with valuable contributions being made by each member of |

| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Winning a national championship represents the |
