| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Ben Russell has rendered outstanding service as a |

| 6 | 6 | | sergeant with the Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 150 |

| 7 | 7 | | security patrol; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Occupying approximately 687 acres of land, District |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | No. 150 is a political subdivision created by the Texas Water |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Rights Commission that is located 15 miles north of Houston; the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Harris County Sheriff's Office provides fully sworn peace officers |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | for additional security to residents and facilities in the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | district; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, During his tenure with the MUD 150 security patrol, |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | Sergeant Russell has demonstrated an unswerving commitment to the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | highest standards of his profession; he goes above and beyond the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | call of duty for each task he undertakes, including meeting with |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | contractors and helping with the garden area; always equipped with |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | a smile, he readily shares his gifts and knowledge with others; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Texans owe an immense debt of gratitude to the men |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | and women of the law enforcement profession who protect and serve |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | the public, and Ben Russell is indeed deserving of recognition; |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby honor Ben Russell for his service with the |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 150 security patrol |

| 27 | 27 | | and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success with his |
