| 10 | 10 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, A fitting recipient of the Teacher of the Year |

| 13 | 13 | | award, Jennifer Verdugo teaches 12th-grade economics at Plano |
