5	5	WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories
6	6	of Jerry Wayne Ivey, who passed away on May 3, 2019, at the age of
7	7	77; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Jerry Ivey was the son of Carroll and Dorothea Ivey,
9	9	and he grew up with a brother, Robert, and a sister, Carol; and
10	10	WHEREAS, In the course of his rewarding career as an
11	11	educator, Mr. Ivey worked at a number of school districts,
12	12	including the Sierra Blanca, Culberson County-Allamoore, Socorro,
13	13	and Ysleta Independent School Districts; he retired from Ysleta ISD
14	14	as a vocational administrator; and
15	15	WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Ivey enjoyed the love and
16	16	support of his wife, Jean, and he took great pride in their
17	17	children, Debbie and Wayne; with the passing years, he had the
18	18	pleasure of welcoming into his family numerous grandchildren and
19	19	great-grandchildren; and
20	20	WHEREAS, Those who were privileged to share in this treasured
21	21	man's love and friendship will always remember him with great
22	22	admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it
23	23	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
24	24	Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jerry Wayne Ivey and
25	25	extend heartfelt sympathy to the members of his family; and, be it
26	26	further
27	27	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
28	28	prepared for his family and that when the Texas House of
29	29	Representatives adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Jerry Ivey.
