| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends were deeply saddened by the |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | passing of Richard Roland LeBrun of Hutto on March 11, 2023, at the |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | age of 84; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Lynn, Massachusetts, on April 14, 1938, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Richard LeBrun was the son of Marion and Roland LeBrun, and he grew |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | up in Peabody, Massachusetts, with the companionship of four |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | siblings, Judy, Donny, Kenny, and Robert; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of a varied career, Mr. LeBrun |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | worked for the Dori Shoe Factory and the Barrett Building and at the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Dalton Transfer Station in addition to serving as a handyman; he |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | resided in Dalton, New Hampshire, for more than 35 years before |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | moving to Texas in 2022; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, A gifted singer and guitarist, Mr. LeBrun was a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | founding member of the band, the Half Breeds, and enjoyed |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | performing at Revere Beach and the Blue Note Lounge; he was a |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | spiritual man and loved spending time in nature, especially in the |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | woods of New Hampshire; in his leisure time, he took pleasure in |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | reading science fiction and watching movies; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Mr. LeBrun was the proud father of four children, |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | Steven, Gary, Christine, and the late David LeBrun, and with the |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | passing years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family six |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, Although he will be deeply missed, Richard LeBrun |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | has left his loved ones with many cherished memories, and they will |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | forever hold him close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Richard Roland LeBrun |

| 32 | 32 | | and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |

| 33 | 33 | | children, Steven LeBrun, Gary LeBrun and his wife, Laurie, and |

| 34 | 34 | | Christine Augusto and her husband, Louis; to his siblings, Judy |

| 35 | 35 | | Bergeron and her husband, Arthur, Donny LeBrun and his wife, Leda, |

| 36 | 36 | | and Kenny LeBrun and his wife, Karen; to his grandchildren, Thomas, |
