| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends will long cherish their memories |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | of Donald David Naiser of San Antonio, who passed away on March 31, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 2022, at the age of 79; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The son of Joseph and Viola Naiser, Donald Naiser |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | was born in El Campo on October 17, 1942, and he grew up with the |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | companionship of two brothers, Fred and Joe Eddie; he earned a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | degree in agricultural engineering from Texas A&M University; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, After working for Central Power and Light and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | Drymalla Construction, Mr. Naiser joined Wharton County Electric |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Cooperative; over the course of his 23-year career with that |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | company, he served as general manager and chief executive officer |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | before retiring in 2010; and |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, In all his endeavors, Mr. Naiser enjoyed the love |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and support of his wife, Barbara, with whom he shared a rewarding |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | marriage that spanned more than five and a half decades; he took |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | great pride in their sons, Derek, Brian, Dodd, and Marcus, and over |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the years, he had the pleasure of welcoming into his family 10 |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | grandchildren; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Donald Naiser lived a life that was rich in personal |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | and professional achievements, and he will forever be remembered |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | with great admiration and affection; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Donald David Naiser |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | and extend sincere condolences to the members of his family: to his |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | wife, Barbara Kutach Naiser; to his sons, Derek Naiser and his wife, |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Susan, Brian Naiser and his wife, Kristine, Dodd Naiser and his |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | wife, Katerina, and Marcus Naiser and his wife, Angela; to his |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | grandchildren, Katie, Cassie, Clay, Logan, Brooke, Elizabeth, |

| 33 | 33 | | Isabella, Brandt, Carson, and Davis; and to his other relatives and |
