| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Family and friends suffered an unimaginable loss |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | with the tragic passing of Nevaeh Alyssa Bravo of Uvalde on May 24, |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | 2022, at the age of 10; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Nevaeh Bravo was born in Uvalde on January 12, 2012, |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | to loving parents Maria Magdalene Garcia and Juan Julian Bravo; she |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | enjoyed the companionship of her two brothers, Juan and Xavier, and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | her sister, Monique, and she was also cherished by her grandparents |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | and her many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Nevaeh was a caring and devoted daughter who always |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | helped out her parents when they needed her; she was blessed with a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | wide circle of loved ones, and with her joyful spirit, she brought |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | smiles to the faces of everyone she encountered; she liked playing |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | softball and riding her bicycle as well as a horse owned by her |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | grandfather's brother; her favorite colors were pink and purple, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | and she was also fond of drawing and watching and making TikTok |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | videos with her brother and cousin; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Although Nevaeh Bravo is profoundly missed by many |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | people, she has left behind a legacy of love that the passage of |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | time can never diminish; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Nevaeh Alyssa Bravo |

| 26 | 26 | | and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of her family: to |
