| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The loving family and friends of Jacklyn Jaylen |

| 6 | 6 | | Cazares of Uvalde will forever cherish their memories of this |

| 7 | 7 | | precious young girl, who passed away on May 24, 2022, at the age of |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | nine; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Jacklyn Cazares was born in Uvalde on June 10, 2012, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | to Javier and Gloria Cazares; she enjoyed the companionship of a |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | brother, Johnathan, and a sister, Jazmin, and she was further |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | blessed with the affection of her extended family, including her |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | nephew, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and cousins; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Free-spirited and sweet-natured, Jacklyn was warm |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and affectionate toward those she loved; she took pleasure in |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | singing, recording videos, and keeping in touch with her friends on |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | social media; she also adored animals, especially her four dogs, |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | and she hoped to one day turn her passion into a career as a |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | veterinarian; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Jacklyn Cazares brought abundant joy to everyone |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | around her, and although her loss is immensely difficult to bear, |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | her memory will forever be treasured by all those who were fortunate |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | enough to share in her life; now, therefore, be it |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jacklyn Jaylen |

| 26 | 26 | | Cazares and extend heartfelt condolences to the members of her |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | family: to her parents, Javier and Gloria Cazares; to her siblings, |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | Johnathan Hernandez and his wife, Anabel, and Jazmin Cazares; to |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | her nephew, Jazsiel Leo Hernandez; to her grandparents, Paula |

| 30 | 30 | | Cazares and Hector Vasquez and Ramon Cazares; and to her other |
