| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The family and friends of Alithia Haven Ramirez of |

| 6 | 6 | | Uvalde suffered a heartbreaking loss with the passing of this |

| 7 | 7 | | cherished young girl on May 24, 2022, at the age of 10; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Jourdanton on April 28, 2012, Alithia Haven |

| 9 | 9 | | Ramirez was the beloved daughter of Ryan Ramirez and Jessica |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Hernandez; she grew up with the companionship of two siblings, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Jonah and Akeelah, who looked up to her as a role model, and she was |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | also blessed with numerous grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | as part of her large extended family; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Alithia Haven Ramirez was admired for her |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | intelligence and reliability, as well as her kind and loving |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | nature, and she was always eager to help if anyone needed anything; |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | known for her passion and talent for art, she could often be found |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | with a crayon in hand working on her latest drawing, and she had |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | dreams of one day attending art school in Paris on her way to |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | becoming a professional artist and sharing her creative gifts with |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | the world; and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | WHEREAS, Alithia Haven Ramirez brought a light into the lives |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | of her loved ones that can never be extinguished, and they will |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | forever keep her memory close in their hearts; now, therefore, be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the life of Alithia Haven Ramirez |
