| 6 | 6 | | at the loss of Jailah Nicole Silguero of Uvalde, who passed away on |

| 7 | 7 | | May 24, 2022, at the age of 10; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Uvalde on September 19, 2011, Jailah |

| 9 | 9 | | Silguero was the beloved daughter of Veronica Luevanos and Jacob |

| 10 | 10 | | Silguero, and she also enjoyed the affection of her brother, Ethan, |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and her two sisters, Nazarea and Khloe; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Active and energetic, Jailah was fond of dancing, |

| 13 | 13 | | riding her skateboard and her bicycle, spending time outdoors, and |

| 14 | 14 | | playing with her cousins; she had a cheerful disposition and a |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | caring heart for others, especially younger children; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Although Jailah Silguero's time on this earth was |

| 17 | 17 | | far too brief, her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | all those who were blessed to share in her love and affection; now, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | therefore, be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Jailah Nicole |

| 22 | 22 | | Silguero and extend deepest condolences to the members of her |

| 23 | 23 | | family: to her parents, Veronica Luevanos and Jacob Silguero; to |

| 24 | 24 | | her siblings, Ethan, Nazarea, and Khloe Silguero; to her other |
