5	5	WHEREAS, Gabriela Munoz of The University of Texas at El Paso
6	6	has greatly benefited her fellow students through her service as
7	7	president of the Student Government Association; and
8	8	WHEREAS, The UTEP Student Government Association acts as the
9	9	voice of the student body to the college administration, with
10	10	elected members representing the interests and concerns of their
11	11	peers and advocating for students' rights; the organization also
12	12	provides leadership and professional development opportunities as
13	13	participants strive to improve the school's social and educational
14	14	experience; and
15	15	WHEREAS, In order to foster positive change, the UTEP Student
16	16	Government Association facilitates communication between students,
17	17	administration, faculty, staff, and community organizations; and
18	18	WHEREAS, The Student Government Association plays a valuable
19	19	role in supporting The University of Texas at El Paso students as
20	20	they develop a solid educational foundation for future achievement,
21	21	and Gabriela Munoz is indeed worthy of recognition; now, therefore,
22	22	be it
23	23	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
24	24	Legislature hereby commend Gabriela Munoz for her service as
25	25	president of the Student Government Association at The University
26	26	of Texas at El Paso and extend to her sincere best wishes for the
27	27	future; and, be it further
28	28	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
29	29	prepared for Ms. Munoz as an expression of high regard by the Texas
30	30	House of Representatives.
