| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Kirsten Kattan has ably served her fellow Texans as |

| 6 | 6 | | an aide in the office of State Representative Abel Herrero during |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Kattan has provided |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks; |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Kattan is currently enrolled as a student at The |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | University of Texas at Austin, where she is pursuing a degree in |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | government; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Kirsten Kattan has performed her duties as a |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, |

| 19 | 19 | | be it |

| 20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Legislature hereby commend Kirsten Kattan for her service as a |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative Abel Herrero |

| 23 | 23 | | and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
