| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Vinit Shirvaikar has ably served his fellow Texans |

| 6 | 6 | | as an aide in the office of State Representative Jacey Jetton during |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Shirvaikar has |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | tasks, which have included conducting research, writing background |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | information for bills, and assisting with stakeholder meetings; in |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | service, he has learned more about the legislative process and the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Shirvaikar is a student at The University of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Texas at Austin, where he is on track to graduate with a bachelor of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | business administration degree in finance and a bachelor's degree |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | in government in 2023; he has maintained an overall grade point |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | average of 3.9 and distinguished himself as a McCombs School of |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Business College Scholar, and he has held membership in the Phi |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | Delta Phi legal honor society and the University Finance |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | Association; since enrolling at UT, he has also found time to work |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | for and assist fellow students at the Sanger Learning Center and the |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | McCombs School of Business, in addition to completing a business |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | internship at U.S. Renal Care in Plano; and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | WHEREAS, Vinit Shirvaikar has performed his duties as a |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | legislative aide with skill and dedication, and he is indeed |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, therefore, |

| 30 | 30 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 31 | 31 | | Legislature hereby commend Vinit Shirvaikar for his service as a |

| 32 | 32 | | legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jacey Jetton |

| 33 | 33 | | and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued success in all |
