H.R. No. 1415
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Sumanpreet Kaur Dosanjh has ably served her fellow
Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Jacey Jetton
during the 88th Legislative Session; and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Dosanjh has provided
vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks,
and she has demonstrated outstanding organizational and leadership
skills; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of
public service, she has learned more about the legislative process
and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, A graduate of the University of Arizona, Ms. Dosanjh
is currently earning a master's degree in public health from Texas
A&M University; she previously served as a graduate student
assistant at the Texas A&M University School of Public Health as
well as a policy intern with the March of Dimes and an advocacy
program intern with Voices for Children; and
WHEREAS, Sumanpreet Kaur Dosanjh has performed her duties as
a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend Sumanpreet Kaur Dosanjh for her service
as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Jacey
Jetton and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in all her endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Dosanjh as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
