| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Each of the Lewisville ISD educators traveling to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | the State Capitol have exemplified the highest standards of their |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | profession, and their trip to Austin will afford them an |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | opportunity to meet with legislators to discuss issues of |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | importance in their field; the visiting delegation includes the |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | district's superintendent, Dr. Lori Rapp, as well as Doug Emery, |

| 18 | 18 | | Alexis Miller, Donna Friend, Amanda McKnight, Heather Lewis, Peggy |

| 19 | 19 | | Hill, Curry Goff, Bre Manuel, Marlene Price, Nick Gravois, and |
