| 8 | 8 | | in Corpus Christi on April 27, 2023; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Painted by local artist La Lisa Hernandez, the |

| 10 | 10 | | 1,300-square-foot mural is dedicated to the memory of Walter |

| 11 | 11 | | F. Ulloa, Spanish-language media pioneer and visionary, who was |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | born on August 14, 1948, and died on December 31, 2022; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, After starting his career at Univision's flagship |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | television station in Los Angeles, Mr. Ulloa rose quickly in the |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | business and launched Entravision; as chair and CEO, he built the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | company into a global media and digital marketing company with over |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | 50 television stations, nearly 50 radio stations, and more than |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | 4,500 technology and consumer brand clients; it is the largest |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | independent broadcaster of Univision-affiliated stations in the |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | United States; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Committed to empowering Latinos, Mr. Ulloa worked |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | tirelessly to ensure that members of the community could see |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | themselves reflected in the media; moreover, he was a mentor to |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | countless people in the industry; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Ulloa was also a passionate collector of Chicano |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | and Mexican art, and as a patron of individual artists, he strove to |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | raise awareness of their creativity and expand their cultural |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | influence; it is indeed fitting that Univision should honor the |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | memory of this visionary trailblazer by investing in public art |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | that will be a source of inspiration for years to come; now, |
