| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Larson Crank has ably served his fellow Texans as an |
|---|
| 6 | 6 | | intern in the office of State Representative Charles Cunningham |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | during the 88th Legislative Session; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Mr. Crank has provided |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | vital assistance in handling a wide variety of tasks, including |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | conducting legislative research and handling constituent |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | correspondence; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | field of public service, he has learned more about the legislative |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of Cameron and Leigh Ann Crank, Mr. Crank is |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | currently a freshman at The University of Texas at Austin, where he |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | is working toward a bachelor's degree in history and government |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | with a minor in business and public policy; he is actively involved |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | with the Liberal Arts Honors Program at UT, as well as the Texas |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Economics Journal, the Texas Orator, the Texas Undergraduate |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | Research Journal, and the Beta Upsilon Chi fraternity; furthermore, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | he has earned placement on the dean's honor list and has been |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | recognized as a Thomas M. Keel Fund scholar and an R. J. Kidd |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | Memorial scholar; in the future, he plans to attend law school and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | specialize in public policy; and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed his |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | duties as a legislative intern with skill and dedication, and he is |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now, |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | therefore, be it |

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | Legislature hereby commend Larson Crank for his service as a |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | legislative intern in the office of State Representative Charles |

| 32 | 32 | | Cunningham and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued |
