5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Susan LeBlanc has ably served her fellow Texans as |

6 | 6 | | district director for Chambers County in the office of State |
---|
7 | 7 | | Representative Terri Leo-Wilson during the 88th Legislature; and |
---|
8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. LeBlanc's resourcefulness and initiative have |
---|
9 | 9 | | earned the appreciation of her colleagues, and her contributions to |
---|
10 | 10 | | carrying forth Representative Leo-Wilson's legislative agenda have |
---|
11 | 11 | | helped address issues facing citizens across the Lone Star State; |
---|
12 | 12 | | and |
---|
13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, For nearly three decades, Mrs. LeBlanc enjoyed a |
---|
14 | 14 | | rewarding career as a school nutrition director at the Lumberton |
---|
15 | 15 | | and Barbers Hill Independent School Districts; over the years, she |
---|
16 | 16 | | played an instrumental role in establishing a lunch program for |
---|
17 | 17 | | secondary students, and she led the catering staff during district |
---|
18 | 18 | | events; in addition, she oversaw the creation of gardens at local |
---|
19 | 19 | | elementary schools, and she taught second-grade students in the |
---|
20 | 20 | | Junior Master Gardener program; and |
---|
21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Active in her community, Mrs. LeBlanc has given |
---|
22 | 22 | | generously of her time and talents to serve a number of civic |
---|
23 | 23 | | organizations, and she has further distinguished herself through |
---|
24 | 24 | | her involvement with the local and state Republican Party; she |
---|
25 | 25 | | holds a bachelor's degree in home economics and business from |
---|
26 | 26 | | McNeese State University; and |
---|
27 | 27 | | WHEREAS, In all her endeavors, Mrs. LeBlanc benefits from the |
---|
28 | 28 | | love and support of her husband, Tim, and she takes great pride in |
---|
29 | 29 | | their son, Andrew; and |
---|
30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed her |
---|
31 | 31 | | duties as district director with skill and dedication, and she is |
---|
32 | 32 | | indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, |
---|
33 | 33 | | therefore, be it |

34 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
---|
35 | 35 | | Legislature hereby commend Susan LeBlanc for her service as |
