44 R E S O L U T I O N
55 WHEREAS, Jaren Tankersley has ably served his fellow Texans
66 as legislative director in the office of State Representative Terri
77 Leo-Wilson during the 88th Legislature; and
88 WHEREAS, Mr. Tankersley's resourcefulness and initiative
99 have earned the appreciation of his colleagues, and his
1010 contributions to carrying forth Representative Leo-Wilson's
1111 legislative agenda have helped address issues facing citizens
1212 across the Lone Star State; in addition to conducting research and
1313 analysis on legislation and policies, he has helped coordinate
1414 communication with other agencies, written reports and briefing
1515 materials, and managed four legislative interns; and
1616 WHEREAS, Mr. Tankersley is a senior at The University of
1717 Texas at Austin, and he has previously served as a copywriter for
1818 RedRock Strategies, as an intern with the Texas Public Policy
1919 Foundation, and as a field representative for Merus Strategies in
2020 Florida; in addition, he completed a legislative internship in the
2121 office of State Representative John Smithee; and
2222 WHEREAS, This esteemed public employee has performed his
2323 duties as legislative director with skill and dedication, and he is
2424 indeed deserving of special recognition for his fine work; now,
2525 therefore, be it
2626 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
2727 Legislature hereby commend Jaren Tankersley for his service as
2828 legislative director in the office of State Representative Terri
2929 Leo-Wilson and extend to him sincere best wishes for continued
3030 success in all his endeavors; and, be it further
3131 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
3232 prepared for Mr. Tankersley as an expression of high regard by the
3333 Texas House of Representatives.
