| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Iman Anwar has achieved great distinction by earning |

| 6 | 6 | | a Master of Business Administration and Master of Healthcare |

| 7 | 7 | | Administration from Texas Woman's University; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born and raised in North Texas, Miss Anwar received |

| 9 | 9 | | a Bachelor's Degree with Honors in Medical Humanities from UT San |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Antonio previously, where she also served as a Drum Major in the |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | Spirit of San Antonio Marching Band; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Miss Anwar has assumed various leadership roles in |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | organizations such as the Parkland Emerging Leader Program, the |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Pak-America Business Forum, the TWU Muslim Student Association, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | the National Association of Latino Healthcare Executives; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Miss Anwar specializes in healthcare policy, and has |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | served North Texas in various different capacities, from working on |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | the frontlines during the COVID-19 pandemic to assisting in cancer |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | screenings at Parkland Memorial Hospital; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, North Texas has benefited greatly from Miss Anwar's |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | contributions, and she may indeed take pride in her |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | accomplishments; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
