| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez received a 2023 Women in |

| 6 | 6 | | Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its |

| 7 | 7 | | Outstanding Women in Education event on March 29; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Gonzalez-Rodriguez currently serves as an |

| 9 | 9 | | education specialist and counselor with ESC Region 2, and she works |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | with the State and Federal Programs team facilitating training and |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | continuing education for the regional school counselors; she is |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | widely respected for her compassion and her expertise in school |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | counseling; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez has set an outstanding |

| 15 | 15 | | example of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, |

| 16 | 16 | | and she is indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, |

| 17 | 17 | | therefore, be it |

| 18 | 18 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 19 | 19 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Judith Gonzalez-Rodriguez on her |
