| 7 | 7 | | Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in |

| 8 | 8 | | Education event on March 29; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Hinojosa has enjoyed a rewarding career in |

| 10 | 10 | | education that has spanned more than five and a half decades; she is |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | currently employed as deputy superintendent of business and support |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | services at the Dr. M. L. Garza-Gonzalez Charter School, where she |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | has worked for 12 years; she also serves as the school's federal |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | programs director and has helped secure numerous grants to empower |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | instructors and provide a quality education to students; and |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, Anita Hinojosa has set an outstanding example of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it |

| 19 | 19 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 20 | 20 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Anita Hinojosa on her receipt of a |

| 21 | 21 | | 2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center |

| 22 | 22 | | Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success |
