| 6 | 6 | | Dolly Gonzales Trolley received a 2023 Women in Education Award |

| 7 | 7 | | from the Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women |

| 8 | 8 | | in Education event on March 29; and |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Appointed to the school board in January 2021, |

| 10 | 10 | | Mrs. Trolley was returned to office in the November 2022 election |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and currently serves as board secretary; renowned as a steadfast |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | advocate for students, she works tirelessly to engage and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | collaborate with parents in an effort to further the district's |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | educational mission; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Mrs. Trolley holds a bachelor's degree from |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | Stephen F. Austin State University and has two decades of |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | experience working as a fundraising consultant; she gives |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | generously of her time to numerous organizations within the Corpus |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Christi community and has been actively involved in several PTA |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | groups over the years; and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | WHEREAS, Dolly Gonzales Trolley has set an outstanding |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | example of leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | and she is indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, |

| 24 | 24 | | therefore, be it |

| 25 | 25 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 26 | 26 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Dolly Gonzales Trolley on her |
