R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Laura Grey of the Tuloso-Midway Independent School
District received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the
Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in
Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Grey has enjoyed a rewarding career at
Tuloso-Midway ISD that has spanned 21 years; she currently teaches
honors English classes at Tuloso-Midway High School, where she
provides a challenging yet nurturing environment for her students;
she has further distinguished herself through her work as a sponsor
for the International Studies and PAL programs; and
WHEREAS, Laura Grey has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Laura Grey on her receipt of a 2023
Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center Region 2
and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in her
important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Grey as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
