R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Leanne Libby of the Corpus Christi Independent
School District received a 2023 Women in Education Award from the
Education Service Center Region 2 at its Outstanding Women in
Education event on March 29; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Libby has 13 years of experience in the field of
education and currently holds the title of chief communication
officer for Corpus Christi ISD; she excels in promoting and
celebrating the district's students, and her wealth of knowledge
and calm demeanor under all circumstances have made her a valuable
member of CCISD staff; and
WHEREAS, Leanne Libby has set an outstanding example of
leadership and dedication to which others may aspire, and she is
indeed deserving of this noteworthy honor; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Leanne Libby on her receipt of a
2023 Women in Education Award from the Education Service Center
Region 2 and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
in her important work; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Ms. Libby as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
