| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber of Commerce is celebrating |

| 6 | 6 | | its 30th anniversary on May 16, 2023; and |

| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, Since its inception, the Royse City Chamber of |

| 8 | 8 | | Commerce has served as a bridge between local businesses and the |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | wider community, and it has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | improving the quality of life for area residents while contributing |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | to the prosperity of the local economy; today, the organization |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | represents a robust network of member businesses, and it benefits |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | from the able leadership of its president and CEO, Ashlee Burke; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The Royse City Chamber offers a variety of services |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | and initiatives to help businesses achieve their goals; the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | organization's networking opportunities include membership |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | luncheons and Business After Hours events, and the chamber sponsors |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | a number of other popular gatherings, such as Casino Night and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | FunFest; the group also promotes businesses though ribbon-cutting |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | and groundbreaking ceremonies and print and online resources, and |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | it honors local companies and entrepreneurs during its annual |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | awards banquet; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Over the past three decades, the Royse City Chamber |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | of Commerce has played an integral role in the growth and vitality |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | of the community, and the organization is indeed deserving of |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | recognition as it marks this special milestone in its history; now, |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | therefore, be it |

| 28 | 28 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Royse |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | City Chamber of Commerce and extend to all those associated with the |

| 31 | 31 | | organization sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it further |
