5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Captain Erick E. Erinna Sr. of the U.S. Army is being |

7 | 7 | | Medical Recruiting Station during his change of command ceremony on |

9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Captain Erinna will officially take on his new |

10 | 10 | | assignment as career manager at the Army Human Resources Command in |

11 | 11 | | Fort Knox, Kentucky, on June 26, 2023, bringing a wealth of |
---|
12 | 12 | | experience from his current role as company commander; over the |
---|
13 | 13 | | course of his two-year tenure, he has overseen targeted recruiting |
---|
14 | 14 | | operations in three states, and he has supervised a team of 5 |
---|
15 | 15 | | officers, 18 noncommissioned officers, and 3 civilians; under his |
---|
16 | 16 | | able leadership, the company has annually commissioned more than 70 |
---|
17 | 17 | | health care professionals in over 41 occupational specialties of |
---|
18 | 18 | | the U.S. Army and the U.S. Army Reserve; and |
---|
19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Prior to joining the Houston Medical Recruiting |

20 | 20 | | Company, Captain Erinna served as a deputy chief human resources |
---|
21 | 21 | | officer for the 804th Medical Brigade in Massachusetts, a battalion |
---|
22 | 22 | | adjutant for the 439th Multifunctional Medical Battalion in New |

23 | 23 | | Jersey, and a station officer in charge for the Army Medical |
---|
24 | 24 | | Department in Oklahoma; his many military honors include a 2021 |

25 | 25 | | General Douglas MacArthur Leadership Award, Recruiting Gold Badge, |

26 | 26 | | Recruiting Ring, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, the Army |

27 | 27 | | Commendation Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, and the Good |

28 | 28 | | Conduct Medal; and |

29 | 29 | | WHEREAS, Captain Erinna holds a bachelor's degree and a |

30 | 30 | | master's degree in business administration from Ashworth College in |

31 | 31 | | Norcross, Georgia; he plans to pursue a doctoral degree in |

33 | 33 | | WHEREAS, Demonstrating an exceptional commitment to the |

34 | 34 | | mission of the U.S. Army, Captain Erick Erinna has greatly |
---|
35 | 35 | | benefited his fellow citizens, and he may indeed reflect with pride |

36 | 36 | | on his outstanding record of service as he takes on the challenges |

37 | 37 | | and opportunities of his new position; now, therefore, be it |
