5	5	WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has ably served her fellow Texans
6	6	as an intern in the office of State Representative Ann Johnson
7	7	during the 88th Legislative Session; and
8	8	WHEREAS, Since joining the staff in January 2023, Ms. White
9	9	has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of
10	10	challenging tasks, including researching legislation,
11	11	corresponding with constituents, and attending hearings; in
12	12	addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
13	13	service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the
14	14	issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
15	15	WHEREAS, A student at The University of Texas at Austin,
16	16	Ms. White is currently studying political science and government in
17	17	the Liberal Arts Honors Program; and
18	18	WHEREAS, Emma Claire White has performed her duties as a
19	19	legislative intern with skill and dedication, and she is indeed
20	20	deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore,
21	21	be it
22	22	RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
23	23	Legislature hereby commend Emma Claire White for her service as a
24	24	legislative intern in the office of State Representative Ann
25	25	Johnson and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success
26	26	in all her endeavors; and, be it further
27	27	RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
28	28	prepared for Ms. White as an expression of high regard by the Texas
29	29	House of Representatives.
