| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Levi Christopher Sell of Scouts BSA Troop No. 8 in |

| 6 | 6 | | Kingwood has attained the rank of Eagle Scout, and this |

| 7 | 7 | | accomplishment truly merits special recognition; and |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The Eagle Scout badge is a significant honor |

| 9 | 9 | | bestowed on only a small fraction of those who enter the scouting |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | movement; in the course of meeting the rank's demanding criteria, |

| 11 | 11 | | Mr. Sell earned 39 merit badges and three Eagle Palms; for his Eagle |

| 12 | 12 | | Scout project, he designed and built a memorial garden dedicated to |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | his elementary school principal, the late Nancy Pinkerton; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, The son of Chris Sell and Karen Wagner, Mr. Sell |

| 15 | 15 | | currently attends Kingwood High School; he has demonstrated |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | outstanding leadership ability throughout his scouting career, |

| 17 | 17 | | serving as an assistant senior patrol leader, a troop guide, and a |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | quartermaster; moreover, he is the recipient of the World |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Conservation Award; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Eagle Scout Sell's dedication to excellence and his |

| 21 | 21 | | perseverance in the pursuit of his goals have proven him worthy to |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | stand among scouting's elite, and he may indeed reflect with pride |

| 23 | 23 | | on a job well done; now, therefore, be it |

| 24 | 24 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 25 | 25 | | Legislature hereby congratulate Levi Christopher Sell on achieving |
