5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, The untimely passing of Phillip Andrew Yarbough on |

6 | 6 | | July 12, 2022, at the age of 35, brought a heartbreaking loss to his |
---|
7 | 7 | | family and friends; and |
---|
8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Born in Corsicana on March 31, 1987, to Irvin and |
---|
9 | 9 | | Sandra Yarbough, Phillip Yarbough grew up with the companionship of |
---|
10 | 10 | | a sister, Brandy; he devoted himself to his faith at an early age, |
---|
11 | 11 | | joining Mount Olive Baptist Church in 1997, and he attended public |
---|
12 | 12 | | schools in the Arlington Independent School District; he played |
---|
13 | 13 | | soccer for both Bowie High School and the Dallas Texans, and he |
---|
14 | 14 | | enjoyed playing the violin as a teenager; after high school, he |
---|
15 | 15 | | continued his education at The University of Texas at Arlington; |
---|
16 | 16 | | and |
---|
17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, Most recently, Mr. Yarbough was working as a project |
---|
18 | 18 | | manager for Tricon Residential, where he was recognized as a |
---|
19 | 19 | | talented employee and an asset to the company; he learned a variety |
---|
20 | 20 | | of skills in indoor and outdoor home renovation as an apprentice |
---|
21 | 21 | | under Elbert Turner, and as the founder and owner of Texas Stellar |
---|
22 | 22 | | Painting, he performed work on many homes throughout the |
---|
23 | 23 | | Dallas/Fort Worth area; and |
---|
24 | 24 | | WHEREAS, Mr. Yarbough enjoyed his expansive collection of |
---|
25 | 25 | | shoes, and he also had a passion for classic cars; an avid sports |
---|
26 | 26 | | fan, he enthusiastically cheered on his favorite teams, the Dallas |
---|
27 | 27 | | Cowboys and the Los Angeles Lakers; he was devoted to his family and |
---|
28 | 28 | | loyal to his friends, and he was known for his kindness, compassion, |
---|
29 | 29 | | and generosity; and |
---|
30 | 30 | | WHEREAS, Although Phillip Yarbough is deeply missed, the |
---|
31 | 31 | | passage of time will never diminish the joy and love that he brought |
---|
32 | 32 | | into the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him; now, |
---|
33 | 33 | | therefore, be it |

34 | 34 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

35 | 35 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Phillip Andrew |

36 | 36 | | Yarbough and extend profound condolences to all those who mourn his |

37 | 37 | | passing: to his parents, Irvin and Sandra Yarbough; to his sister, |

38 | 38 | | Brandy Yarbough; to his godsons, Kameron and Karter Bruner; to his |

39 | 39 | | goddaughter, Jordyn Brown; to his uncles, aunts, and cousins; to |
