H.R. No. 1611
R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, A number of talented individuals have provided
indispensable support as legislative interns in the office of State
Representative Carl Sherman during the 88th Legislative Session;
and
WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, these dedicated workers
have handled a wide variety of challenging tasks for the office; in
addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public
service, they have learned more about the legislative process and
the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and
WHEREAS, The members of this outstanding group include RayVon
Addison, Chelsea Laughrun, Emma Meehan, Francesca Starkie, Evelyn
Conway, and Jessica Paige; and
WHEREAS, These six noteworthy individuals have performed
their duties as legislative interns with great skill and
commitment, and they are indeed deserving of special recognition
for their fine work; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby commend the legislative interns who have served
in the office of State Representative Carl Sherman and extend to
each of them sincere best wishes for continued success in all their
endeavors; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That official copies of this resolution be prepared
for Mr. Addison, Ms. Laughrun, Ms. Meehan, Ms. Starkie,
Ms. Conway, and Ms. Paige as an expression of high regard by the
Texas House of Representatives.
