H.R. No. 1696 R E S O L U T I O N WHEREAS, Sadie Klos has ably served her fellow Texans as an aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner during the 88th Legislative Session; and WHEREAS, Since joining the staff, Ms. Klos has provided vital assistance in handling a wide variety of challenging tasks, which have included conducting research and tracking legislation concerning consumer safety, voting rights, and public education policy; in addition to gaining valuable experience in the field of public service, she has learned more about the legislative process and the issues facing citizens of the Lone Star State; and WHEREAS, Ms. Klos is a student at The University of Texas at Austin, where she is set to graduate with a degree in government in May 2023; she also attended the University of Cincinnati in Ohio, and she worked as a residential intern at the ACH Child and Family Services Wedgwood Campus in Fort Worth; and WHEREAS, This outstanding young Texan has performed her duties as a legislative aide with skill and dedication, and she is indeed deserving of special recognition for her fine work; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas Legislature hereby commend Sadie Klos for her service as a legislative aide in the office of State Representative Chris Turner and extend to her sincere best wishes for continued success in all her endeavors; and, be it further RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be prepared for Ms. Klos as an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
