| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Century 21 Bill Bartlett is celebrating the 50th |

| 6 | 6 | | anniversary of its founding in September 2023; and |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | WHEREAS, The company traces its origins to 1973, when Bill |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | Bartlett concluded his career with a life insurance agency to |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | establish a real estate office in Belton; the business moved to |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | Salado in 1982, and a decade later, it joined Century 21; since its |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | inception, the firm has served the real estate needs of more than |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | 8,000 families; and |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | WHEREAS, Century 21 Bill Bartlett has received the Century 21 |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | Per Person Productivity Award each year for more than a decade, and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | it was named Business of the Year in 2014; dedicated to serving the |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | wider community, the company has been involved in a number of area |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | events, such as the Salado Christmas parade, Operation Friends |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | Feeding Friends, Community Shred Day, and food and school supply |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | drives; and |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | WHEREAS, Today, the company is composed of eight |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | professionals, including founder Bill Bartlett, who has further |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | distinguished himself through his contributions to numerous local |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | boards and organizations; over the years, he has given generously |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | of his time and expertise to the Salado Independent School District |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | Board of Trustees, the Temple-Belton Board of Realtors, the boards |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | of local banks, and other civic groups; in addition, he and his |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | family were inducted into the Salado Hall of Fame in 2009; and |
|---|
| 28 | 28 | | WHEREAS, Over the course of five decades, Century 21 Bill |
|---|
| 29 | 29 | | Bartlett has earned the loyalty of many area Texans, and all those |
|---|
| 30 | 30 | | associated with the company may indeed reflect with pride on their |
|---|
| 31 | 31 | | accomplishments as they celebrate this special milestone; now, |
|---|
| 32 | 32 | | therefore, be it |

| 33 | 33 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 34 | 34 | | Legislature hereby commemorate the 50th anniversary of Century 21 |

| 35 | 35 | | Bill Bartlett and extend to the business's owner, agents, and staff |
