 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, Cabela's El Paso has rendered exceptional support to
 military veterans and to the community at large, and its myriad
 contributions merit special recognition; and
 WHEREAS, The sporting goods store benefits from the direction
 of general manager Bryan O'Grady, a U.S. Army veteran whose work
 with other veterans as well as with law enforcement, fire
 departments, and other organizations has helped to unify the
 community and create a network of resources; under his leadership,
 Cabela's partners with the El Paso Veterans & Riders Association to
 assist area veterans and families; the two entities have also
 joined efforts in supporting the Texas Army National Guard 3rd
 Battalion, 133rd Field Artillery Regiment stationed in El Paso; and
 WHEREAS, In addition, Cabela's El Paso has participated in
 numerous outreach initiatives, including distributing essential
 items to youth and families and donating clothing, toiletries, and
 toys to the Child Crisis Center of El Paso; Cabela's also benefits
 area scouting troops by hosting fishing events and other outdoor
 activities; and
 WHEREAS, Cabela's El Paso is making a lasting and positive
 difference in the lives of residents throughout the region, and it
 is indeed a pleasure to join in honoring the enterprise for its
 outstanding efforts; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby commend Cabela's El Paso for its many
 contributions to the community and extend to all those associated
 with the store sincere best wishes for the future; and, be it
 further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for Cabela's El Paso as an expression of high regard by the
 Texas House of Representatives.
