| 7 | 7 | | 88th Session as participants in the Sam Houston Austin Internship |

| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Established in 2012, SHAIP offers students an |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | opportunity to learn about the legislative process and to gain |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | valuable experience while putting their skills and knowledge to |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | work; each participant is placed in a legislative office, where |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | they work full-time over the course of the legislative session and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | handle a range of important responsibilities; students selected for |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | this prestigious program earn academic credit while building their |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | resumes and professional networks; and |

| 17 | 17 | | WHEREAS, This year's class of interns includes Morgan |

| 18 | 18 | | Robertson and Jessica Cuevas in the office of State Senator Charles |

| 19 | 19 | | Schwertner, Yvette Mendoza in the office of State Representative |

| 20 | 20 | | Will Metcalf, Ingrid Cuero in the office of State Senator Bryan |

| 21 | 21 | | Hughes, Ashlyn Parker in the office of State Representative J. M. |
