| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, For 25 years, Frances Garcia has distinguished |

| 6 | 6 | | herself through the compassionate care she has provided to her |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | fellow Texans as the owner of Angelitos Primary Home Care; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Ms. Garcia started the company in 1998 out of a |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | desire to use her health care expertise to help others, and today, |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | the business offers a variety of services, including home nursing |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | and physical, speech, and occupational therapy; over the years, she |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | has expanded her operation to encompass Angelitos DME and Angelitos |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | PHC in Port Isabel; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, A lifelong resident of Mission, Ms. Garcia |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | graduated from Mission High School in 1977; after completing |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | studies to become a licensed vocational nurse, she embarked on her |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | career in health care; in all her endeavors, she enjoys the love and |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | support of her sons, Joey Guerra and Steven Alaniz and his wife, |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | Corina, and she relishes the time she spends with her |
|---|
| 20 | 20 | | granddaughter, Evelyn; in her leisure hours, she enjoys exercising, |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | traveling with friends and family, visiting the beach, and |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | listening to George Strait; and |
|---|
| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Through her dedication, professionalism, and |
|---|
| 24 | 24 | | passion for health care, Frances Garcia has made a positive and |
|---|
| 25 | 25 | | lasting difference in the lives of countless area residents, and |
|---|
| 26 | 26 | | she may indeed reflect with pride on her many accomplishments as she |
|---|
| 27 | 27 | | celebrates this special milestone in her career; now, therefore, be |
|---|

| 29 | 29 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 30 | 30 | | Legislature hereby honor Frances Garcia for her 25 years of service |

| 31 | 31 | | with Angelitos Primary Home Care and extend to her sincere best |

| 32 | 32 | | wishes for the future; and, be it further |
