| 8 | 8 | | Interscholastic League Track & Field State Meet; and |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Joining the other top high school competitors at |

| 10 | 10 | | Mike A. Myers Stadium in Austin on May 11, the Randolph athletes |

| 11 | 11 | | turned in an exceptional performance; dominating the field, the |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Ro-Hawks racked up a total score of 94, outdistancing the |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | second-place team by 24 points to claim their second consecutive 3A |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | crown; and |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, Leading the way for Randolph was Taylor Nunez, who |

| 16 | 16 | | collected four gold medals; she set 3A state meet records in two of |

| 17 | 17 | | the events, soaring 20 feet, 2.5 inches, in the long jump and |

| 18 | 18 | | breaking her own mark in the 100-meter dash with a blistering time |

| 19 | 19 | | of 11.44 seconds; moreover, she sprinted to victory in the 200 |

| 20 | 20 | | meters in 23.42 seconds, and she joined Jaela Smith, Cai Rogers, and |

| 21 | 21 | | Jourdann Cathro on the winning 400-meter relay squad that crossed |

| 23 | 23 | | WHEREAS, Sophia Bendet clinched two gold medals for Randolph, |
