| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Words cannot adequately express the sorrow felt at |

| 6 | 6 | | the loss of Brennley Jean Abbott of Corpus Christi, who passed away |
|---|
| 7 | 7 | | on December 20, 2022, at the age of eight months; and |
|---|
| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, The daughter of Kellen and Jennifer Abbott, Brennley |
|---|
| 9 | 9 | | Abbott was born on April 13, 2022; and |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | WHEREAS, Brennley was a vocal, happy baby who loved to bask in |
|---|
| 11 | 11 | | the attention of her doting parents and adoring older brothers, |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | Greyson and Jackson; she spent many contented hours with her large |
|---|
| 13 | 13 | | extended family and enjoyed playing with her little cousins; and |
|---|
| 14 | 14 | | WHEREAS, Fascinated by the people around her, Brennley often |
|---|
| 15 | 15 | | fixed them with an intense stare, only to break into a huge smile; |
|---|
| 16 | 16 | | she could make her wishes known with a mighty yell that belied her |
|---|
| 17 | 17 | | tiny size; her bubbly personality brightened her brothers' ball |
|---|
| 18 | 18 | | games and family trips to zoos, parks, and other destinations; and |
|---|
| 19 | 19 | | WHEREAS, Brennley Abbott brought out the best in everyone |

| 20 | 20 | | around her, and although her days were far too few, she will forever |
|---|
| 21 | 21 | | hold a treasured place in the hearts of all who were fortunate |
|---|
| 22 | 22 | | enough to know her; now, therefore, be it |

| 23 | 23 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |

| 24 | 24 | | Legislature hereby pay tribute to the memory of Brennley Jean |

| 25 | 25 | | Abbott and extend deepest condolences to the members of her family: |
