 R E S O L U T I O N
 WHEREAS, The Cenikor Foundation, a nonprofit organization
 dedicated to helping clients break free from drug and alcohol
 addiction, is celebrating the 56th anniversary of its founding in
 2023; and
 WHEREAS, Operating at nearly a dozen locations throughout the
 state of Texas, the Cenikor Foundation administers adult and youth
 recovery programs that are certified by the Commission on
 Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities; its spectrum of care
 includes prevention services, short-term residential treatment,
 outpatient treatment, detoxification services, recovery support
 services, and a sober living program, which provide clients with
 various ways to work toward long-term sobriety while also
 accommodating their schedules and individual needs; and
 WHEREAS, Last year, the Cenikor Foundation served more than
 2,000 people in the Corpus Christi community; its Corpus Christi
 facility offers adult outpatient services, withdrawal management,
 and recovery programs, as well as residential care; and
 WHEREAS, For over half a century, the Cenikor Foundation has
 been a critical lifeline for thousands of Texans, including many
 Corpus Christi residents, and this anniversary celebration
 presents a welcome opportunity to recognize a truly commendable
 organization; now, therefore, be it
 RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
 Legislature hereby congratulate the Cenikor Foundation on its 56th
 anniversary and extend to its staff and clients sincere best wishes
 for the future; and, be it further
 RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
 prepared for the Cenikor Foundation facility in Corpus Christi as
 an expression of high regard by the Texas House of Representatives.
