R E S O L U T I O N
WHEREAS, Mohammad Mutaz Yaghi has been named valedictorian of
the Class of 2023 at Paetow High School in Katy, and he indeed
merits special recognition for receiving this significant honor;
and
WHEREAS, Earning the title of valedictorian requires not only
intellect and aptitude, but also four years of dedication to the
highest academic standards; in securing his place as the
top-ranking student in his class, Mr. Yaghi demonstrated a thorough
understanding of a wide range of subjects, and his attainment of
this coveted distinction is the crowning achievement of a notable
high school career; and
WHEREAS, Following graduation, Mr. Yaghi plans to attend the
University of Pennsylvania, where he will major in business and
international studies; and
WHEREAS, During his years at Paetow High School, Mohammad
Mutaz Yaghi has earned the respect and admiration of both his
teachers and classmates, and his exceptional scholastic ability and
commitment to excellence have opened the way to a bright and
promising future for this outstanding young Texan; now, therefore,
be it
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas
Legislature hereby congratulate Mohammad Mutaz Yaghi on graduating
as valedictorian of the Paetow High School Class of 2023 and extend
to him sincere best wishes for continued success as he begins the
next exciting chapter of his life; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be
prepared for Mr. Yaghi as an expression of high regard by the Texas
House of Representatives.
