| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 9 | 9 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |
|---|
| 10 | 10 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 11 | 11 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Jennifer L. Peterson exemplifies the passion, |

| 13 | 13 | | determination, and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our |

| 14 | 14 | | best teachers, and she has set a standard of excellence to which all |
