8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, Gruver began its journey to the crown by posting an |

10 | 10 | | district title; continuing to excel in the playoffs, the Lady |

11 | 11 | | Hounds bested Memphis, Olton, Panhandle, New Home, and Wellington |

12 | 12 | | High Schools to advance to the state tournament for the fourth time |

13 | 13 | | in program history; after dominating San Saba High School 69-29 in |

14 | 14 | | the semifinals, Gruver moved on to the state finale; and |

15 | 15 | | WHEREAS, On March 5 at the San Antonio Alamodome, Gruver took |

16 | 16 | | the floor against Stamford High School; the Lady Hounds were in |

17 | 17 | | command from the outset, showcasing a balanced scoring attack as |

18 | 18 | | they built a 23-14 halftime advantage and a 36-26 lead entering the |
