| 5 | 5 | | WHEREAS, Laura Roa has been named the 2022-2023 Teacher of |

| 6 | 6 | | the Year at Tornillo Intermediate School in the Tornillo |

| 8 | 8 | | WHEREAS, A solid education is vital for young people to |

| 9 | 9 | | become successful and productive adults, and those men and women |

| 10 | 10 | | who dedicate their careers to teaching make a positive difference |

| 11 | 11 | | in the lives of their students and in the greater community; and |
|---|
| 12 | 12 | | WHEREAS, Laura Roa exemplifies the passion, determination, |

| 13 | 13 | | and innovative spirit that are the hallmarks of our best teachers, |

| 14 | 14 | | and she has set a standard of excellence to which all in her |

| 15 | 15 | | profession may aspire; now, therefore, be it |
