8 | 8 | | Interscholastic League Wrestling State Tournament; and |

9 | 9 | | WHEREAS, Competing in the 114-pound weight class, |

10 | 10 | | Ms. Vasquez punched her ticket to the state meet with a |

11 | 11 | | fourth-place showing at regionals; on February 17 and 18, she |

12 | 12 | | joined the top high school wrestlers in Texas at the Berry Center in |

13 | 13 | | Cypress; demonstrating tremendous skill and determination in all of |

14 | 14 | | her matches, she compiled three victories and ultimately clinched |

15 | 15 | | the silver medal in her division; and |

16 | 16 | | WHEREAS, By medaling in the state's premier showcase for high |

17 | 17 | | school wrestlers, Victoria Vasquez has ably represented her school |

18 | 18 | | and community, and she will long cherish her memories of this |

19 | 19 | | outstanding accomplishment; now, therefore, be it |

20 | 20 | | RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 88th Texas |
